CHC President Featured in the Montreal Gazette

The Montreal Gazette recently contacted CHC President Mark Halloran to contribute to an article titled "What It Takes To Be A CEO". Featured on the front page of the Saturday edition's Working section, the article examined the characteristics shared by successful executives today and provided insights into how they can be developed.
"People with executive potential communicate effectively and are able to convey the extent of their accomplishments," Halloran was quoted as saying. "They open up in interviews and freely discuss what they've done with a sense of confidence. They can talk about the impact they've had on the organization. Great leaders know what they are good at and what their weak areas are - and they are not ashamed to talk about both.
While many executive qualities may appear to be innate, career experts know that they can be cultivated. If your goal is to reach the executive level, start by advising your employer of your goal. Find out what is required to be successful in your organization."

Act for Stolen Children
At CHC, we pride ourselves on building the value of people in their careers and personal lives. Now long-time client and associate Samantha Walker is working with an organization known as Mindset Media to build the value of people on another front.
In Uganda, 30,000 children have been violently stolen from their parents at gun point. They're being brutally tortured. Raped. Forced to kill. And 50,000 others have to leave their homes and families every night - walking for hours in a dangerous exodus to escape rebel soldiers.
It has being called the world's most neglected humanitarian crisis. It continues because most people have no idea it is even happening. Don't be one of them.
