Mark Halloran, CHRP - CHC President & Founder

Alison Scott - Manager of UVR Operations

Driving CHC's popular Ultimate Value Recruiting (UVR) services and related technologies and processes, Alison Scott draws on cross-functional experience that includes recruiting, account/project management and communications.

As Technical Recruiter and Account Manager in a division of one of the largest privately owned recruiting companies in North America, Alison was a member of a core team responsible for establishing and developing Montreal operations from start-up. She was later hired as Technical Recruiter and Team Lead to manage all private and public sector recruiting projects for a private recruiting firm in Ottawa. Prior to joining CHC, Alison was leading HR, Recruiting and Quality initiatives at CryoCath Technologies, a medical technology company. Alison holds a Business & Human Resource Management degree from Bishops University.



Rob van Blokland - Director of Marketing and Communications

Rob is a specialist in marketing and business communications with more than 17 years of international experience. His expertise includes positioning and branding strategies, copywriting and the development of purpose-driven communication tools that effectively create and promote value. Cathy Jaynes - Recruitment Specialist

An experienced recruiting professional with a decade of proven success in national and international recruiting, Cathy has assisted organizations across a wide array of industries including manufacturing, insurance, communications, accounting and finance. She has recruited successfully for such firms as Chase Manhattan Bank, Shell, Prudential, Gillette UK, Fuji Film, Bacardi, Marks & Spencer and Cargill.

While working for PricewaterhouseCoopers in Bermuda, she gained extensive knowledge of the accounting industry and the benefits of internationally run recruitment assignments. As a Senior Recruitment Consultant in England, she became a recognized specialist in cultivating lasting synergy between candidates and employers.

Celina Close, CHRM - Recruitment Specialist

A senior HR professional with extensive experience in the IT industry, Celina's HR expertise includes recruitment, employee relations, conflict resolution, employee induction and development and personnel change management. Celina helps CHC clients to realize their objectives and attract the talent they need faster and more effectively. For over a decade, she has been enhancing the competitiveness of organizations by successfully implementing and re-engineering their recruiting processes.

In addition to holding her Certified Human Resource Management Certificate (CHRM), Celina has a Bachelor's degree in Labour Studies from McMaster University.



Julie Johnstone - Recruitment and HR Specialist

With over 15 years of recruiting and HR development expertise, Julie has helped to strengthen diverse teams and HR infrastructures of companies of all sizes - including small start-ups, nationwide leaders and global organizations. Her recruiting experience includes manufacturing, telecommunications, healthcare and financial services industries.

Dr. Andrew Bennett - CHC Consulting Psychologist

Professionals today face unique stresses both in the workplace and at home – such as isolation, loneliness, defensive attitudes, value conflicts and family stress - that can undermine the achievement of personal and organizational goals. Andrew helps them to develop psychological insights and tools to better manage workplace emotions and psychodynamics - their own and those of co-workers.

With a Ph.D. in Psychology from McGill University, Dr. Bennett is a member of the Order of Psychologists in Quebec and Ontario and the Society for Personality Assessment. He has practiced clinical psychology for such organizations as the Brampton Memorial Hospital, Youthdale Treatment Centres, the Robert/Smart Center and the Lester B. Pearson School Board. Emily Woods - Client Services Representative & Administrative Assistant

Emily came to CHC as a former Customer Service Manager in the retail industry. With an emphasis on optimizing our customer service experience and administrative processes, Emily is the first point of contact for our clients..



Briana Yerbury - Charity Officer

Briana steers CHC's charity and fundraising initiatives for charities such as the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada, as well as our youth sports assistance programs. CHC is proud to have spearheaded the revival of the St. Thomas High School hockey program and the development of the Beaconsfield Rugby Football Club Alumni program.

A volunteer at McGill University's Leadership for Life program, Briana has coached several sports teams and plays rugby at the regional and provincial levels. She was selected as the Queen of Montreal's 2008 St. Patrick's Day Parade and presided over the oldest and longest running Saint Patrick's Day Parade in North America (300,000+ spectators each year).
